Categories and Pricing

Individual Two Peaks Challenge (35 kms approx.) - $70 NZD

Choose from any of the following options:

  • Run/Walk Two Peaks
  • Mountain Bike Two Peaks
  • E-Mountain Bike Two Peaks

One Peak Explorer (20 kms approx.) - $50 NZD

This is intended as a rewarding, non-competitive category. Up one side of Mt. Erin, and then down the other side along the Tukituki River to the Matangi Road transition.
Choose from one of the following options:

  • Run/Walk One Peak
  • Mountain Bike One Peak
  • E-Mountain Bike One Peak

Two Person Relay (35kms approx.) - $100 NZD($50 each)

If you part of a team please add your team name and team mates name. Both must pay individually. Choose Male/Female/Mixed. Please choose from one of the options below:

  • Run/Walk Relay Two Peaks
  • Mountain Bike Relay Two Peaks
  • E-Mountain Bike Relay Two Peaks

** A late entry fee will apply from midnight Sunday 31 March 2024. After this date, an additional $10 for Solo and One Peak Explorer entries and $20 for Relay Teams will be incurred.

** Any changes to your entry may incur a $20 administration fee.

Note One

Prize money awarded to Two Peaks Challenge runners and mountain bikers $500 1st male and female runners and mountain bikers $250 2nd male and female runners and mountain bikers $100 3rd male and female runners and mountain bikers Medals awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female solo runners and mountain bikers. (No place getter medals for e-bike and teams categories).

Note Two

For participants 15 years of age and under, please refer to point 16 under Race Regulations. You are required to fill in a form prior to registering for the event and must receive written approval from Race Directors before competing. Form can be downloaded above.

Note Three

Electric bikes are permitted on the course, (strictly under 300 watts) and do have their own category. Please ensure you are comfortable with riding rough terrain if you wish to embark on this challenge with an e-bike. Also you may carry a spare battery with you. Please note that you must be capable and prepared to carry your bike up some steep sections and also over gates - and it will feel heavy when you're fatigued. Best to practice beforehand!
